The CycleAbility Challenge is a three day, 200-mile fundraiser--bicycle
tour from Patterson, New York to Vermont which benefits Special Olympics
New York - Hudson Valley Region and South East Consortium for Special Services,
Inc. The ride was inspired by the camaraderie of its original participants
and their desire to use their passion for cycling to assist people less
fortunate than themselves. The Challenge is a personal challenge to the
riders and has grown to be a tremendous benefit to its beneficiaries, having
raised more than 4.79 million dollars since its inception in 1990. The Challenge
has made a significant impact on many lives at Special Olympics NY - Hudson
Valley Region and South East Consortium for Special Services, Inc.
There are many ways to get involved in this honorable fund raiser: as a rider, as a volunteer, as a corporate sponsor, or simply as a supporter of one of the riders. We invite you to get involved and participate in this celebration of the human spirit. |
